Ancient Pain Relief Formula By Kung Fu Master

The Hit Balm Formula

The Dit Da Jow or ‘Hit Medicine’ I use in my acupuncture practice was inherited from a friend, mentor, and gifted herbalist named Frederick Obey, who opened the legendary Santa Monica-based store, Herb King. It was a place where students and practitioners of herbal medicine spent time studying and discussing Chinese herbs. However, we expanded our offerings to include high-quality, medical-grade essential oils and western herbs. My foundation as a herbalist was laid at Herb King, and when the shop closed after the untimely passing of Frederick, it was his Dit Da Jow recipe, passed down from his kung fu master, that inspired the Jow that I use in my practice and has been soaking in alcohol since 2006. This is the foundation for Hit formulas.

HIT BALM MAX
FORMULATED FOR PAIN

Hit Balm is not just another CBD balm.

There are a million brands out there, but what makes Hit Balm special are its herbal ingredients, And I want to talk to you about some of them. These are a number of the herbs that go into our Dit Da Jow formula. They all get, these are in their individual form, but they all get ground up. They are then extracted into an oil that I use as one of the base oils in hit bomb. And this is what it ends up looking like. So you can see this was a clear oil, and now it's got the extraction of all these herbs in it. And just to start, these two herbs, these are both tree resins. This is frankincense, which many people know about it's using essential oils and air purifiers. It's used topically, but it's a powerful anti-inflammatory. And in combination with this, which is known as Dragon's blood, it's also a tree resin.

The two of these together are powerful anti-inflammatories, but they also help to regenerate damaged tissue, damaged. Muscle, damaged tendon. This herb, Hong Waw or Safflower, is both used internally and externally, internally. It's used in a lot of gynecological formulas for menstrual pain and cramping but applied topically; It moves Chi; it moves blood to help speed healing in an area and relieve the pain. This is Cory Dallas, it's called and it in combination with turmeric, both are strongly anti-inflammatory. One of the components of this herb and Cory Dallas is one of the active components in aspirin actually, and it in combination with turmeric, they are cured together. In a lot of formulas for, anti-inflammatory groups is very, very powerful. This is called Sanchi. It is found in almost every herbalist's DIT dot chow formula because it's so effective. And it in combination with this herb, which is Angelica root, these are the tales of the root.

It's like a bold, and it has these little tails that come off of it. These are thought to be the most moving parts of the herbs. So we use these because we're wanting to move to Chi. When it's stagnated in the area of an injury, this is cinnamon bark, and cinnamon bark is warming, and it helps direct blood to the area of an injury so that it comes to the surface. And you can vent some of that inflammatory heat, which can be helpful in reducing swelling and reducing pain in an area of injury. This is the beeswax that we use, in contrast to the commercial beeswax that are available. This is rich and smells like honey. We get it from no harm farms in Idaho and Tennessee, and I love this beeswax; it's wonderful. And this is our CBD distillate. So this is distilled from the sticky stuff. That's on the flower of hemp plants.

And as you can see, it's thick like tar or honey, very, very concentrated, and it doesn't just have CBD. It has other cannabinoids, a little bit of THC, a very slight amount. It has CBG CBN, a bunch of other cannabinoids that we're still learning about, but in combination, they all work much more effectively than just CBD alone. So all of these go-to makeup HitBalm™️.
